What is Golden Visa?

A golden visa that gives non-European individuals, companies, & professional investors and their families the right to reside and work in a European Union country with visa-free travel across the EU. You and your family get resident permits that can later be converted into citizenship.

Southern Europe offers the easiest path to obtaining golden visas. At this time, Europe Incorporations finds Spain to be one of the easier entry points via golden visas.

You can acquire Golden Visas in Spain by the following means:

1. Property Investment – Acquisition of one or several real properties such as a home or business with a minimum total value of €500,000. For asset acquisition above €500,000, the rest is allowed to be financed. You only have to invest that minimum €500,000.
2. Minimum of € 1 million deposit in a Spanish bank. This bank deposit can then be used to acquire real estate in Spain.
3. Minimum of € 1 million investment in investment funds or the shares of a Spanish company’s stock or
4. Minimum of € 2 million investment in Spanish publicly traded debt.

If you previously acquired property in Spain dating back to 2013, this can count toward your Golden Visa qualification.

Your investments can be made directly by you or through your company in a foreign location but not one located in a recognized tax haven. If through a company, you must be the majority shareholder to qualify. No minimum time in Spain. The normal six-month requirement for Spanish visas does not apply.
